People are the most important part of any event and Woodford is no exception.
Here we see every possible combination of race, culture, age, taste and
talent.
I have to admit to the people being the most fascinating attraction
for me personally, as I wander around the festival site soaking up the
atmosphere and enjoying the thousands of varied and colourful folk doing
exactly the same thing. Colour is the operative word at this gathering
of folk music enthusiasts. Often, it seems that the more radical the style,
the better and sometimes you do see the weekend "ferals" taking a break
from their workaday occupations as lawyers, accountants, etc., and stepping
out in their "designer rags". All good clean fun.
