SS1- Noosa Main Beach 1946 Viewed from Laguna Bay, the beach at Noosa just after the 2nd World War looks a peaceful and wonderfully underdeveloped paradise for the sort of folk who wanted sun, surf, fishing and an easy time (27.7x21, 18x13)
SS2- Fishermen at Noosa 1940s This is a result of a day in Paradise fishing the waters off Noosa in the 1940s when the fish were so plentiful that “hope” was not a word the fishermen uttered. (27.7x21, 18x13)
SS3- Bill Massoud's north shore beach tour in old truck Long before Noosa became the tourist Mecca that it now is, entrepreneurial folk like Bill Massoud (behind the wheel) were taking adventurous folk along the beach to the Coloured Sands in the luxurious style shown here! (27.7x21)
SS4- Mapleton - Nambour tramway On December 3, 1915 this very excited load of people from the Mapleton area climbed aboard these carriages for the thrill of descending the range to Nambour for the first time by rail (27.7x21, 18x13)
